Bob Mitchell

Brother Bob Mitchell was saved in June of 1968 and called to preach shortly thereafter.
He pastored two churches, the first in North Georgia, and the second in Western Pennsylvania, where he spent fourteen and a half years before God directed him into his present ministry of planting independent Baptist churches in the Northeast.

He moved to Laconia, New Hampshire, to plant the Central Baptist Church in August of 1994. The church was chartered in October of 1995. As the Lord blessed and the church grew, they were able to purchase a 10,000 sq. ft. building on 5.25 acres of land in a prime location in neighboring Belmont, New Hampshire. After eleven months of remodeling, the building and property were dedicated on June 27, 1999.

Brother Mitchell most recently planted the Mid-Coast Baptist Church in Brunswick, Maine, with his son, Bobby, who continues to pastor the church. Presently, Brother Mitchell is working with Brother Tom Bromwell, and together they are planting the Heritage Baptist Church in South Portland, Maine.

Bob and his wife, Kathy, reside in Bowdoin, Maine.
